Eight friends- A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a square table in such a way that four of them sit at corners of the table while the other four sit in the middle of the four sides. Those who sit in the middle of the four sides face the centre while those who sit at the corners of the four sides face outside.
A sits third to the left of C, who does not sit at any of the corners and C is an immediate neighbour of G. E sits to the left but not on the immediate left of F, who is not an immediate neighbour of C and E. B and H are not the immediate neighbours of each other and H is an immediate neighbour of A and E. A and D are also not an immediate neighbour of each other. D does not sit in the middle of any sides and at least two persons can sit between A and D. E and G sit opposite to each other but do not face each other. F cannot sit opposite C.

Puzzle 1
Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a circular table facing away from the centre. Each of them has a different rank in mock test, viz 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th but not necessarily in the same order.
A and C, whose rank is 3rd, can never sit together. There are two persons between the persons whose ranks are 7th and 5th. The person whose rank is 5th sits second to the right of F. H does not rank 2nd or 1st and he is also an immediate neighbour of the one whose rank is 5th. The person whose rank is 1st cannot sit with the person whose rank is 4th. There are two persons sitting between C and the person whose rank is 6th. B and E are immediate neighbours of each other. The person whose rank is 1st sits on the immediate left of the person whose rank is 8th. A is second to the right of the person whose rank is 7th. D’s rank is neither 6th nor 7th. E and G are not immediate neighbours. G, who does not rank 5th, sits on the immediate right of H. There is only one person sitting between those two persons whose ranks are 8th and 6th.

There are eight employees P, Q, R, S, U, V, W and T working with banks, namely BOB, UCO, PNB, HDFC, SBI, RBI, Axis and ICICI. All of them are sitting around a circular table and facing the centre but not necessarily in the same order.
W is working with PNB and doesn’t sit between Q and R. S sits second to the left of the person who is working with PNB and opposite U. P works with the UCO Bank and is fourth to the left of R and does not sit on the immediate left of the person who is working with the Axis Bank. The person who is working with RBI sits between those two persons who are working with SBI and the UCO Bank respectively. Q works with SBI and is third to the left of the person who is working with PNB. The person working with Axis Bank faces W, who is on the immediate left of the person who is working with HDFC. The person working with RBI sits third to the right of the person working with BOB.
