## Daily Puzzle Questions In English Practice Sets :

### Pre Level Puzzle :

There are seven friends namely A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. All of them are sitting in a row facing north and are equidistant from each other.

B, who is not at any of the extreme ends, is fourth to the left of C. G is in the middle of the row and there are two people between D and G. A is an immediate neighbor of B and is third to the left of E.

Solution :

### Mains Level Puzzle :

Puzzle 1

Ten people i.e. G, H, I, J, K, P, Q, R, S, and T are seating on two parallel rows. P, Q, R, S, and T are seating in row 1 and facing towards north. G, H, I, J, and K are seating in row 2 and facing south. They like different musical instrument Guitar, Piano, Violin, Saxophone, Drum, Flute, Tuba, Harp, Sitar, and Trumpet (not necessarily in the same order).

R likes Trumpet and sits at an extreme end. Immediate neighbor of R faces the one who likes Saxophone. Immediate neighbor of G faces P, who likes Tuba. T doesnâ€™t sit in the middle of the row. The one who faces P sits second to the right of K who likes Flute. The one, who likes Guitar sits extreme end. Q does not like Violin. T likes Drum and doesnâ€™t sit just near to both P and R. Neither H nor J sits at the extreme end. J faces the one who likes Sitar and Q faces the one who likes Piano. G sits second to the right of the one who faces the immediate neighbor of R.

Solution :

Puzzle 2

P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, and W live on eight different floors of a building but not necessarily in the same order. The lowermost floor is numbered 1 and the topmost floor of the building is numbered 8. Each of the people likes different Cities viz, Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Goa, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, and Indore but not necessarily in the same order.

Only one person lives between U and the one who likes Bangalore. The one who likes Delhi lives on an even-numbered floor but not on the topmost floor. Only two persons live between U and the one who likes Delhi. Neither T nor R lives on the first floor. Only one person lives between R and the one who likes Jaipur. P lives just above U. Only two persons live between T and P. The one who likes Bangalore does not live on floor number one. Q lives on an even-numbered floor and just above R. The one who likes Goa lives on an even-numbered floor and lives just above the person who likes Indore. R likes neither Bangalore nor Indore. Only two persons live between the one who likes Pune and the one who likes Mumbai. S does not like Kolkata. The one who likes Pune does not live on an odd-numbered floor. W lives just below the one who likes Indore.
