Puzzle 1

Ten persons are sitting in twelve seats in two parallel rows containing five people each, in such a way that there is an equal distance between adjacent persons. In row 1, A, B, C, D and E are seated and all of them are facing south, and in row 2, P, Q, R, S and T are sitting and all of them are facing north. One seat is vacant in each row. Therefore, in the given seating arrangement each member seated in a row faces another member of the other row. All of the persons like different colours.

S sits third to the right of R and likes Yellow colour. Only one people sit between Q and Vacant seat. Q does not like Orange and Green colour. E is not an immediate neighbour of C. Q sits at one of the extreme ends. B likes Olive colour. The one who likes Green colour faces the one who likes Pink colour. The one who likes Green colour sits opposite to the one, who sits third right of the one, who sits opposite to S. C is not an immediate neighbour of D. Vacant seat of row-1 does not face S also does not sit at any of the extreme ends. T, who likes neither Orange nor Purple colour, does not sit adjacent to the vacant seat. Neither S nor R sits at an extreme end. D faces R. Vacant seats are opposite to each other. The person who likes Blue colour and Pink colour are adjacent to each other. There are two seats between C and B, who sits third right of the one, who likes White colour. The one who likes Magenta colour faces the one, who likes Yellow colour. Vacant seat of row-1 is not an immediate neighbour of D. R does not like Blue and Pink colour. One of the persons likes black colour.

C, D का निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है. पंक्ति 1 की खाली सीट S की ओर उन्मुख नहीं है तथा वह किसी अंतिम छोर पर नहीं बैठा है. T, जिसे न तो संतरी न ही बैंगनी रंग पसंद है वह खाली सीट के आसन्न नहीं बैठा है. न तो S न ही R पंक्ति के अंतिम छोर पर बैठा है. D, R की ओर उन्मुख है. खाली सीट एक दूसरे के सामने हैं. वे व्यक्ति जिन्हें नीला और गुलाबी रंग पसंद है वे एकदूसरे के आसन्न हैं. C और B, जो सफ़ेद रंग पसंद करने वाले के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है उनके मध्य दो सीट हैं. वह व्यक्ति जिसे मैजंटा रंग पसंद है वह पीला रंग पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति की ओर उन्मुख है. पंक्ति 1 की खाली सीट D की निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है. R को नीला और गुलाबी रंग पसंद नहीं है. किसी एक व्यक्ति को काला रंग पसंद है.

Puzzle 2

P, Q, R, S, T, U and V are seven players, who play for the same team. In a match meeting, they all are sitting around a circular table facing to the center. Also each player has to complete his training, which is assigned to them. No two player can complete their training at the same time and no two adjacent player finish their training immediately one after the other.

P completes his training immediately before Q. R sits third to the left of S but completes his training after S. Q sits to the immediate left of V. T sits to the immediate left of the player, who completes his training before two players. U completes his training immediately after Q but not after R. The number of players who complete their training before V is same as the numbers of players, who complete their training after V. U sits 2nd to the right of person who completes his training 1st.
