Nine people A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and J stay in a building, not necessarily in the same order. The building has nine floors and only one person stays on one floor. All of them wear one shirt each, and each shirt is a different colour i.e. blue, grey, white, black, yellow, green, red, orange and pink not necessarily in the same order. The ground floor is numbered 1, the floor above it number 2 and so on and the top most floor is numbered 9.
H wear a black coloured shirt and stays on an even numbered floor. A stays on any even numbered floor below the floor on which H stays. The one who wears an orange coloured shirt stays on the fourth floor. E stays on the second floor and wear the white coloured shirt. The one who wears a pink coloured shirt stays on the third floor. A does not wear a green coloured shirt. There are two floors between the floors on which the people wearing the red and the black coloured shirts. C wear a grey coloured shirt. There are three floors between the floors on which C and G stay. D stays on a floor immediately above J’s floor. There is one floor between the floors on which F and G stay. F does not wear the pink coloured shirt. The one who wears the blue shirt stays on the top most floor. F does not stay on the ground floor.

H ने काले रंग की शर्ट पहनी है और वह सम संख्या वाले तल पर रहता है. A किसी सम संख्या वाले तल पर H के नीचे वाले तल पर रहता है. वह व्यक्ति जिसने नारंगी रंग की शर्ट पहनी है चौथे तल पर रहता है. E, दूसरे तल पर रहता है और उसने सफ़ेद रंग की शर्ट पहनी है. वह व्यक्ति जिसने गुलाबी रंग की शर्ट पहनी है वह तीसरे तल पर रहता है. A ने हरे रंग की शर्ट नहीं पहनी है. लाल और काली रंग की शर्ट पहनने वाले व्यक्तियों के बीच केवल दो तल स्थित है. C ने ग्रे रंग की शर्ट पहनी है. C और G के बीच केवल तीन तल स्थित है. D, J के तल के ठीक उपर वाले तल पर रहता है. F और G के रहने वाले तल के बीच केवल एक तल स्थित है. F ने गुलाबी रंग की शर्ट नहीं पहनी है. वह व्यक्ति जिसने नीले रंग की शर्ट पहनी है वह सबसे उपर के तल पर रहता है. F, ग्राउंड फ्लोर पर नहीं रहता है.

Seven family members A, B, C, D, E, F and G are sitting around a circular table facing either the centre or opposite the centre, but not necessarily in the same order. Each of them likes different colour viz. Red, White, Black, Yellow, Violet, Green and Pink but not necessarily in the same order. There are two married couple in the family. And number of females are more than males in the family. C is the brother of E’s only sister G. D is father of E. C is married to A. B is son of C. F is mother in law of A. C sits third to the right of E’s sister. G faces the centre. Only one person sits between C and the person who likes Yellow. Immediate neighbours of C face outside. Only one person sits between F and D. Both F and D face the centre. Husband of F does not like Yellow. Wife of C likes Green. A faces the centre. Two people sit between the persons, who like Green and White. The person, who likes Violet sits to the immediate left of E. E faces same direction as her brother. The person, who likes Black sits to the immediate left of the person, who likes Pink.

C, E की एकलौती बहन G का भाई है. D, E का पिता है. C का विवाह A से हुआ है. B, C का पुत्र है. F, A की सास है. C, E की बहन के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. G का मुख केंद्र की ओर है. केवल एक व्यक्ति C और पीला रंग पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य बैठा है. C के निकटतम पडोसी का मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा में है. केवल एक व्यक्ति F और D के मध्य में बैठा है. दोनों F और D का मुख केंद्र की ओर है. F के पति को पीला रंग पसंद नहीं है. C की पत्नी को हरा रंग पसंद है. A का मुख केंद्र की ओर है. दो व्यक्ति, हरा और सफ़ेद रंग पसंद करने वाले व्यक्तियों के मध्य बैठे है. वह व्यक्ति जिसे बैगनी रंग पसंद है, E के ठीक बायें बैठा है.
