Eight people i.e. A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H are seated in a row but not necessarily in the same order. Some of them are facing towards the north direction and the rest are facing towards the south direction. H sits third to the right of D. Three persons sit between H and B who sits to the left of D. E sits third to the left of B and is an immediate neighbour of H. H is the only neighbour of G who faces the same direction as D. A sits second to the right of B and faces north. C sits third to the left of F. A and F face the same direction. Persons sitting at the extreme ends face the same direction. E faces the same direction as G. C and H face the opposite direction as that of E.

Puzzle 2

There are eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H sitting in two parallel rows with one vacant seat in each row. Vacant seats are not at extreme ends and also not opposite to each other. In row 1- A, B, C and D are sitting facing south. In row 2 – E, F, G and H are sitting facing north. G sits four places away from F. A sits to the right of C. D is not sitting near to the vacant seat. E sits opposite to B. G sits to the left of E. D sits third to the right of B.
