Nine persons i.e. I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P and Q are born in nine different years i.e. 1971, 1978, 1984, 1987, 1992, 1998, 2001, 2002 and 2010. All the information is not necessarily in the same order. All the ages of the given persons have been calculated on base year 2020.N’s age is a multiple of 2 but neither a multiple of 3 nor of 7. Two persons were born between M and O, and M’s age is multiple of 2 and 3 both. One person is born between O and J. Difference between the ages of M and L is three years. Age of K is more than three times the age of N. Difference between the ages of J and I is one year. Only three persons were born between J and L. Q’s age is a perfect square of an odd number.

Puzzle 2

Five friends Abhi, Sagar, Neha, Ritu and Sumanyu go to five different cities through different modes of transport: train, flight, car and bus, 2 people travel by car. On their way, they spent different amounts: 100, 200, 300, 500 and 600 they travel to different cities i.e. Bangalore, Kanpur, Indore, Delhi and Ludhiana. All this information is not necessarily in the same order.

The person who travels to Delhi spends the largest amount but does not go by bus or train. Sagar does not go by bus and his destination is not Ludhiana. The amount spent by Abhi is less than Rs. 200. The person who goes to Kanpur spends Rs.500. Sumanyu spends more than 300 but does not go by car and bus. Ritu goes by flight and spends Rs.300. The person who goes to Indore goes by car. The person who goes to Ludhiana spends the least.
