There are eight persons i.e. A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around two parallel rows such that five of them faces north direction and three of them faces south direction. They all like different colours i.e. Not more than Four person sits in a row.

F sits second to the right of A. The one who likes pink colour sits on the left of C. F does not sits opposite to the one who likes Pink colour. E sits second to the right of G, who does not like Pink colour. Either F or A sits at the end of the row. C, who likes Black Faces H. F and C faces same direction. C is not the immediate neighbour of F and does not sits at the end of the row. G sits opposite to the one who likes Brown colour. A does not like brown colour. No one sits on the right of B. B and A face same direction. Two person sits between the one who likes Blue and Red colour. B does not like Blue color and red colour. D does not sit opposite to the one who likes Blue colour and D does not like Red colour. A and E faces opposite direction but E & A do not face each other. G does not like yellow colour. One of the person who faces north likes Green colour. H and G does not like Green colour and either one of them person likes White.

आठ व्यक्ति अर्थात A, B, C, D, E, F, G और H दो समानांतर पंक्तियों के चारों ओर इस प्रकार बैठे हैं कि उनमें से पांच का मुख उत्तर दिशा की ओर है और उनमें से तीन का मुख दक्षिण दिशा की ओर है। वे सभी अलग-अलग रंग पसंद करते हैं अर्थात एक पंक्ति में चार से अधिक व्यक्ति नहीं बैठे हैं।

F, A के दायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। जिसे गुलाबी रंग पसंद है वह C के बायें बैठा है। F, गुलाबी रंग पसंद करने वाले के विपरीत नहीं बैठा है। E, G के दायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है, जिसे गुलाबी रंग पसंद नहीं है। या तो F या A पंक्ति के अंत में बैठा है। C, जिसे काला चेहरा पसंद है, H. F और C का मुख समान दिशा की ओर है। C, F का निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है और पंक्ति के अंत में नहीं बैठा है. G, भूरा रंग पसंद करने वाले के विपरीत बैठा है। A को भूरा रंग पसंद नहीं है। B के दायें कोई नहीं बैठा है। B और A का मुख समान दिशा की ओर है। नीला और लाल रंग पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य दो व्यक्ति बैठे हैं। B को नीला रंग और लाल रंग पसंद नहीं है। D उस व्यक्ति के विपरीत नहीं बैठा है जिसे नीला रंग पसंद है और D को लाल रंग पसंद नहीं है। A और E विपरीत दिशा की ओर उन्मुख हैं लेकिन E और A एक दूसरे की ओर उन्मुख नहीं हैं। G को पीला रंग पसंद नहीं है। उत्तर की ओर उन्मुख व्यक्ति में से एक को हरा रंग पसंद है। H और G को हरा रंग पसंद नहीं है और इनमें से किसी एक व्यक्ति को सफेद रंग पसंद है l

Puzzle 2

Eight friends L, R, X, D, B, V, K and Z are sitting around a square table. Each one of them was born in different months March, August, April, June, September, January, May and July in the same year. Four of them sit at four corners and four of them sit at middle of each side. The persons who sit at corner faces outside and the persons sitting in the middle faces inside the square table. Persons whose names start with first half of the English alphabets sit at corner of the square. All the above information is not necessarily in the same order.

B sits third to the left of the one who was born in March. B is not the eldest. The one who was born in July sits second to the left of V. R was born before June. V was born in a month which has 30 days. K was born in a month which has less than 31 days. The one who was born in May sits second to the right of X. The one who was born in April sits immediate right of K. Only one person sits between R and the one who was born in March. The one who is the eldest person sits second to the right of L. K is not the youngest. L was not born in a month which has 30 days.

B उस व्यक्ति के बायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है जिसका जन्म मार्च में हुआ था। B सबसे बड़ा नहीं है। वह व्यक्ति जिसका जन्म जुलाई में हुआ था, V के बाएं से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। R का जन्म जून से पहले हुआ था। V उस महीने में पैदा हुआ था जिसमें 30 दिन होते हैं। K का जन्म उस महीने में हुआ था जिसमें 31 दिन से कम दिन होते हैं। वह व्यक्ति जिसका जन्म मई में हुआ है, वह X के दायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। वह व्यक्ति जिसका जन्म अप्रैल में हुआ है, वह K के ठीक दायें बैठा है। R और मार्च में पैदा हुए व्यक्ति के बीच केवल एक व्यक्ति बैठा है। वह व्यक्ति जो सबसे बड़ा है वह L के दायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। K सबसे छोटा नहीं है। L उस महीने में पैदा नहीं हुआ था जिसमें 30 दिन होते हैं।
