Puzzle 1

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H are living on an eight-story floor not necessarily in the same order. They like different colors such as Green, Blue, Red, Pink, White, Brown, Yellow, and Orange not necessarily in the same order. The floors are numbered from 1 to 8 starting with the ground floor number as 1, first floor as 2 and so on.

G lives on an even-numbered floor above 5. Only 1 person lives between G and the one who likes Green. The number of persons living above G is the same as the number of persons living between G and E. E doesnâ€™t like Yellow. Only 2 persons live between E and the one who likes Orange. B lives in one of the even-numbered floor above Orange and does not like Pink. Only 2 persons live between B and the one who likes Blue. One who likes Red lives immediately above Orange. H neither likes Pink nor Brown. Only 3 persons live between G and A. The one who likes Yellow lives immediately above the one who likes White but not on the topmost floor. Only 1 person lives between H and one who likes Yellow. Only 1 person lives between C and the one who likes Blue. D lives on the lowermost floor.

Solution :

Puzzle 2

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H are sitting around a circular table. Four of them are facing inside and four of them are facing outside.

Note: The one who is facing inside likes fruits and the one who is facing outside likes flowers.

Fruits are i.e. Apple, Banana, Mango, and Papaya. Flowers are i.e. Daisy, L0ily, Tulip, and Rose. E is 2nd to the left of A who likes Mango. One person sits between E and the one who likes Tulip. D is 2nd to the right of the one who likes Tulip. The one who likes Apple is the neighbour of D. Two persons sit between the one who likes Apple and the one who likes Lily. F is 3rd to the left of the one who likes Lily. F likes Daisy. H likes Rose and sit 2nd to the right of the one who likes Papaya. C doesnâ€™t like Tulip. H sits opposite to B.
