The event was inaugurated on Sunday, August 21st, by Assam’s Chief Minister, who also announced the commencement of a new scheme and, as part of that program, distributed 6670 motorcycles to community cadres. More than 6670 scooters have been issued in the last two years by the state government of Assam, and now on August 21st, it has increased the total number of distributed scores in the last two years to around 10908. It is increasing from year to year in favor of the “Sakhis” of the state.
