Puzzle 1

Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are sitting in a circular table and all of them are facing inside the table. They all are of in a different profession.

The one who is a Teacher sits third to the right of V. U sits second to the left of the one who is a Driver, who is an immediate neighbour of the Teacher. Two persons are sitting between U and W, who is an Accountant. The Engineer sits opposite to the P, who is a Farmer. The Engineer is not an immediate neighbour of U and the driver. The Doctor sits second to the left of Q and does not face the Teacher. S sits opposite to the Pilot, who is an immediate neighbour of Forester. T is neither a Doctor nor a Teacher.

Puzzle – 2

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are born in different years viz., 1971, 1975, 1981, 1987, 1989, 1993, 1996 and 2001 but not necessary in the same order. Their ages were calculated based on the year 2018.

Two persons are born between H and D, whose age is not a prime number. Three persons are born between B and G. G is not an elder than B. As many persons born between G and F is same as between B and E. A is not an younger than E, who does not born in 1989. Not more than two persons born between E and C.

Puzzle 3

Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are belongs to three different cities Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore in such a way that not less than two and not more than three persons belongs to the same city. They are having eight different cars namely Alto, Bolero, i20, Lancer, Polo, Scorpio, Pajero and Swift but not necessary in the same order.

Q belongs to the same city as the one who has Bolero. Only P and the one who has Alto lives in the same city but not in Mumbai. U does not live in the same city as Q. V lives in the same city as the one who has Polo but does not live in Bangalore or Delhi. The one who has Pajero lives in the same city as W, who does not live with V. P does not have Pajero. U has Lancer but does not live with the one who has Polo. The one who has i20 lives with the one who has Bolero. V does not has i20. T belongs to the same city as the one who has Scorpio but not with U. The one who has Swift does not belongs to Delhi. S neither has Pajero nor has i20.

Puzzle – 4

Eight persons J, K, L, M, N, O, P and R are sitting in a row and all of them are facing south but not necessary in the same order.

R sits third to the right of P. Either P or R sits at one of the extreme ends of the row. J sits second to the left of L. As many persons sitting to the left of J is same as the persons sitting to the right of N. Only one person sits between M and O. O is not an immediate neighbour of L. As many persons sitting between N and O is same as sitting between R and K.

Puzzle – 5

Seven students A, B, C, D, E, F and G are attending the exams on different subjects in a same week starts from Monday to Sunday. They all attend the exams on the subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Botany, Zoology, Computer and Economics but not necessary in the same order. Only one person attends the exam on one subject in one day.

Two persons attend the exam between the one who attend the Botany exam and A, who attends one of the days before Thursday but not on the Monday. Three persons attend the exam between the one who attend the Chemistry exam and the one who attend the Economics exam. G attends the exam immediately before the one who attends the Economics exam. A does not attend either Chemistry or Computer exam. Only one person attends the exam between F and the one who attends the Computer exam, who attends after F. As many persons attend the exams before the one who attends the Physics exam is same as after F. As many persons attend the exam between C and the one who attends the Maths is same as between D and the one who attends the Maths exam. C attends the exam before D and does not attend the Zoology exam. E does not attend the Botany exam.
